But seriously, our laid back, no drama, family friendly, chill neighborhood vibe is what makes this Silver Spring pool the place to relax for that after work dip, or lazy Sunday afternoon reading a novel with your toes dangling in the water.
And the kids? Well at West Hillandale Swim Club, they practically take care of themselves. BTW that's not a stock photo, those are our kids, in our pool. Fun Fact: Our swim team is actually older than our pool. Founded in 1959, the Dolphins predate the building of the swim club by four years. The Dolphins are an open, supportive swim team available to children ages 5 to 18 of all fitness and skill levels.

West Hillandale Swim Club, Inc. is a not for profit membership corporation formed in June of 1961 by residents of the Hillandale community. Each founding member contributed $5,000 to purchase the real estate and construct the pool and club house. In today's dollars, the contributions were more than $32,000 per member.
Membership

If a refund is granted, membership stake is forfeited and the use of the facility is immediately revoked. Individuals receiving refunds must pay the full initiation fee again before rejoining the club. Congrats on that new bundle of joy! But we're guessing you had no idea diapers cost that much did you?
Pool Parties & Swim Lessons

Through the generous donation of a member, the swim club added a Party Pavilion to the property. This pavilion is perfect for that special birthday, graduation, or anniversary event that you don't want to have at your house. 3 hour time period for $150 (this is the maximum amount of time the pavilion can be reserved for an event).
