Employ active review: pause the video, write notes, and form mental connections between what was just covered, what's been covered, and the overall topic. Do not just watch the videos all the way through like a TV show. Really try to understand the process of how to solve questions: you'll find a lot of examples online.
MCAT CARS tips for “bad” readers

If we need to read additional parts of the passage, we skim the passage to find the appropriate parts. Instead, you need to focus on the process of CARS: the step-by-step method of solving CARS questions. Instead, you will be asked specific questions about specific parts of the passage. The process is designed to figure out which parts of the passage are being asked about, understand those parts, and then pick the correct answer choice.
