Our founder, Chef Rachel, grew up in the South, influenced by her two sugar-loving Grandmas. Baking and eating were forms of communication, a way of showing - and sharing - love. After experimenting at home and working in the industry, Rachel attended the Culinary Institute of America, Napa Valley, in Baking & Pastry, graduating at the top of her class.

Over the years, we've been listed in a variety of press pieces, from newspapers to magazines to blogs to TV. Our founder -Chef Rachel - won Food Network's Chopped Cake Sweets Showdown last year! Catch the latest!
