
Bread Artisan Bakery is a family owned and operated bakery from Southern California. We encourage daily deliveries to ensure the freshest products in our restaurants and cafes. We are located in Santa Ana, CA. An Orange County native, Jonnie grew up with a love of sunshine, the ocean and fresh, natural food.
Her father, the family gourmand, dreamed of bringing an authentic old-world artisan bread to Southern California. His vision was realized when he formed our first bakery in 1995. When he passed away, Jonnie ended her career in advertising to carry on his dream. In 2010, BREAD artisan bakery was born.

Our sourdough is our signature and our pride, using a centuries-old tradition of organically leavening the bread with a flour and water culture. We allow longer fermentation times to fully develop the flavor and texture. It's certainly not the easiest or fastest method, and whether you call us obsessive artisans or gluttons for punishment, we believe the result is worth the wait.
