We are a family owned and operated business on green bluff in the foothills of Mt. Spokane. We value home grown ingredients and home spun recipes. Come have a beer made from locally sourced ingredients in our tap house or get fresh produce from our farm to take home. With backgrounds in biology, chemistry, and farming - we were farmers and educators before we started brewing beer.
This background makes our process and our beer unique - we brew according to the scientific method using ingredients from our farm and the local community. A trip to our tap house will likely not only include the enjoyment of tasty beer right from the source - you will probably also get the chance to meet the brewers or some of our local farmers.

Our Roots
Report
About 50 years ago, Harvel Wood - Craig's father - bought a 250 acre plot on Green Bluff. He came west during the dust bowl and was fulfilling a life long dream to own his own fertile land. Our goal is still to be self-sustaining - using produce, hops, and grains from our farm - to educate and share the joy of farming and brewing, and to continue to preserve and maintain open space and a way of life for future generations.

This German-style pilsner is craft beer made simple. Here in the Spokane County, the Ponderosa Pine is king. Many Ponderosas stand tall as property or fence line markers in this high desert transition zone.
This clean, traditional German Pilsner is made almost exclusively of pilsner malt, our German noble hop of choice - Hallertauer, and lagered for a couple of weeks to ensure a fresh, easy-drinking brew that will stand tall and resilient for years to come.Farm fresh local honey lingers on your tongue in this refreshing, well balanced lager.

Working this wood, I cannot help but pause and smell it's sweet essence and reflect upon it's life. My grandpa planted this tree more than 30 years ago. My dad has spent the better part of his life continuing to nurture this tree. Both of these men have, and still teach me so much about life. How to work hard.
