My name is Chris Wild and, like many, I grew up with German Shepherd Dogs. Thanks to my parents, a lifelong love of German Shepherds was instilled in me early on and, for me, there has never been any other breed. Now, together with my husband and fellow GSD lover, Tim, I have a small breeding program in rural southern Michigan.

Here we enjoy raising and training our dogs for participation in various dog sports and working dog activities, developing and maintaining an exceptional breeding program of working bloodline German Shepherds, and above all sharing most every aspect of our lives with these wonderful dogs.

Wildhaus puppies are generally $2000. All puppies in the same litter are priced the same. Individual litters may vary due to the costs incurred to do the breeding. For pricing on a specific litter, please see the individual litter listing, or contact us. Reservations will only be accepted from individuals who have already completed our interview and screening process.
How Our Pups Are Raised
Report
We space our breedings out in order to ensure that each litter has our undivided attention and we can spend a significant amount of time socializing, interacting with and evaluating the puppies. All of our dogs live in the house, and we whelp and raise our litters in the house as well.

Keeping the litter in our home with us ensures they are in a safe, secure, climate controlled area, and allows us to easily keep dam and pups under careful observation. As the pups age, it also affords us the opportunity to expose the pups a variety of normal household sounds and activities on a daily basis.

Many people are not aware that there are in fact many types of German Shepherds, each with different physical characteristics and, more importantly, personality traits. Understanding these differences and selecting a type that best suits your personality, lifestyle and training goals is the first step in responsible German Shepherd ownership.
