I'm sharing the same review I left on Yelp. It pains me to write a poor review - this is a famous local bakery and they really do have delicious baked goods. This review is late. I got married in July of 2021 and went to Villa Italia after wedding cake plans fell through with another local bakery (similar e-mail issues as with Villa Italia - see below). Time was beginning to run out but I was told that I only needed to place an order a couple weeks in advance - great! I got a taste box, everything was good. My husband and I ordered our cake through e-mail. Again - everything was confirmed

Villa Italia is one of my favorite dessert shop for local goodies when I'm in the mood. I always get the rainbow cookies, there's just something about it that's devine and decadent. The tiramisu and red velvet cupcakes are pretty yummy too. They have amazing gelato cakes too. Check them out for custom cakes and If you're having a sweet tooth! Enjoy!

Forget that they are the best bakery around.. its Xmas eve day....the place is crazy ,lines out the door but- they are fully staffed and they are all dressed professionally, courteous and pleasant amid the organized chaos. Nothing but the highest praise to everyone behind that counter. Truly admirable.

Hire Villa Italia! My wife and I got their Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for our wedding and it was delicious. Everyone at the wedding also loved it. Their designs on the website are true to what they produce. Great bakery.
Overall, we were very happy with Villa Italia.
Recommendation: This may go without saying but do the taste testing because we tried the red velvet cake from another (highly recommended) place and my wife and I could taste food coloring.

The best tasting quality cakes I have ever ordered besides my 1 private cake maker Grace Flagg in Averill Park. These cakes are creamy and moist.Best flavor I have ever tasted. Villa Italia makes your cake the same day within 1 to 2 hours which is so convenient when you have an emergency. The cookies & pastries are phenomenal with such a wide variety of types and fancy ones.
