Building Blocks Nursery School is a licensed full-time preschool open 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday for children ages two to five in the Bryant neighborhood of Seattle. Our mission is to create a learning environment that is fun, safe, and nurturing for all children; a place where children look forward to coming each day and parents feel a sense of comfort, community and trust knowing their children are receiving the best care possible while learning skills to build their future.
Building Blocks Nursery School enrolls 34 students: 14 two to three year olds in the Juniors classroom and 20 four to five year olds in the Preschool.We offer 2, 3 or 5 day per week schedules. If you are interested in sending your child to Building Blocks Nursery School, please join our wait list.

Building Blocks Nursery School is a play based preschool for children ages two to five, located in the Bryant neighborhood of Seattle. Children can enroll once they are two years old. We are open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, with the exception of all Federal Holidays, as well as a one week Winter and Spring Break (aligning with the Seattle Public School District breaks).

Building Blocks Nursery School has two classrooms: 2 to 3 year old children upstairs in the Juniors and 4 to 5 year old children downstairs who attend the Preschool. The daily schedule allows for teacher directed activities and self-initiated activities, as well as time for free play, quiet and active periods and outdoor playtime.

Jessica Bell is the Director of Building Blocks Nursery School. Jessica previously was a Lead Preschool Teacher at the 55th Street School, with over 10 years of early childhood education experience. She holds a degree in Society Ethics and Human Behavior, with an emphasis in Education from the University of Washington.
