Pixie Hill Preschool, as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization relies on the generosity of parents, alum families and the community to make fulfilling our mission possible. We operate on the standard model of tuition covering 85% of our expenses with fund-raising to make up the difference. We thank you in advance for any support you can give!
Teachers

Jenn was born and raised in Port Angeles, Washington, but moved to the Seattle area in 2011 to attend the University of Washington. Jenn comes to Pixie Hill after working at KidsQuest Children's Museum for 7 years, as an Early Learning Educator and Program Coordinator. After doing outreach programs at Pixie Hill, she fell in love with the atmosphere and teaching environment.
3's Program
Report
The 3's program curriculum encourages growth in socialization skills as children learn to listen, share, take turns, and participate comfortably in individual and group activities. The children participate in circle time, a wide range of art and play experiences and activities designed to promote development in both large and small motor skills.
Pre-K
Report
The Pre-K class continues to encourage socialization skills, as well as academic Kindergarten readiness. Learning activities include emergent math, emergent reading and pre-writing emphasized in small group work, as well as whole class lessons. Group activities provide opportunities to make decisions, follow directions, assume responsibility, and work cooperatively.
Pre-K Enrichment

An optional pre-kindergarten enrichment program is offered on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Children may opt to enroll for one or both enrichment days. The enrichment program builds on the themes that are introduced in the traditional pre-k class and offers students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of those topics with a focus on math, science and art.
