
A Johnson & Wales University Culinarian, Chef Tallent has made a name for himself as one of the best chefs in the southeastern United States with 15 years of professional culinary experience. A three-time James Beard Foundation Nominee, Chef Tallent has worked and trained in prestigious restaurants across the country including Michelin Star Daniel and Jean Georges in NYC and AAA 5 Diamond Peninsula Grill in Charleston, SC.
Tallent has also been the Executive Chef and Owner of Bon Vivant Culinary catering company in Charlotte since 2013. Azalea Bistro combines Tallents' love of both Charlestonian and French cuisine for an upscale yet approachable eclectic restaurant in historic Saluda NC. Emma (Teal) Tallent, a Charleston SC native who graduated Wake Forest University in Winston Salem NC in 2010 has a passion for guest services and hospitality.

Our Dinner Menu is not traditional Al A Carte style but instead Banquet or Prix Fix style. Du Jour options change frequently based upon availability, sustainability, and seasonality. This allows us to offer exceptional and varied dishes to our guests and gives our chefs the ability to showcase specialties, highlight seasonal and local ingredients, and create and explore exciting new dishes.
