Since our founding in 1935, Hillbrook School has been committed to a simple and compelling vision - to inspire children to achieve their dreams and reach beyond themselves to make a difference in the world. At the center of our campus lies the Village of Friendly Relations, a set of small buildings designed and built by our earliest students back in the late 1930s.

Children and adults on campus know that it matters how we treat each other. From the moment students are greeted in the morning by name to the time they leave campus in the afternoon, they are immersed in a culture that cares about and celebrates kindness. We lead with questions. A sense of wonder and a spirit of discovery are nurtured, as we place student choice and engagement at the center of the learning experience.
Our Traditions
Report
Each week, accompanied by the Head of School and Hillbrook's Student Council (STUCO), our community pledges allegiance to the flag, students and teachers make announcements, and our community shares news. A highlight of this weekly tradition is jokes, where students (or adults) can stand up, take a risk, and share a joke with the entire audience.
