Well 2020 was a crazy year that I believe we are all glad to forget. Fishing has been good, but regulations have made it tough to take home certain species. Striped Bass is in its second year of a slot limit of 28-35. There have been plenty of short fish and even more fish over the slot limit. Hopefully the fishery managers know what they are doing.
I personally feel that it is not working to save the fish, but it is the law right now. Sea Bass is another species that I feel they are overprotecting at a cost to young lobsters and other species. Offshore fishing is spotty with the Sharks, Tuna and Bonito. New regulations on Mako Sharks almost guarantee a catch and release fishery.

I am a licensed Masters-100 ton U.S.C.G. Captain and have been a charter boat captain for over 41 years. I have experience in catching every species of fish from flounder to giant blue fin tuna. I have been known to grab my fishing rod and sneak in-between my customers to wet a line and catch a few fish.

We offer 1/2, 3/4 and full days. Combination fishing trips can be easily arranged for you. Expert anglers, novice fishermen, or family trips are all welcome. Tip for the Mate: A customary tip of 20% of the charter fee is given to the mate directly by the charter group. Above rates include all bait, chum & tackle, except for eels used during the day if requested. A deposit of $300 for Inshore trips & $400 for Offshore trips is required to reserve your date for the trip.
Getting Ready

If you are using a GPS, punch in: 40 State St. Narragansett, RI 02882 and that will bring you right to the dock. Take Route 95 South to Exit 9 (exit is on left side of the highway) to Route 4. Follow Route 4 South to Route 1 South. Proceed to the Point Judith Exit. Take Dramamine or Bonine the night before and at least 1 hour before sailing if you tend to get sea sick.
