Academy of Dance has a faculty of internationally trained, in-demand instructors and offers classes in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, afro, tap, musical theater, and hip-hop, as well as various other classes. Students at Academy of Dance have performed with professional ballet companies such as the Royal Ballet of London, American Ballet Theatre, and San Francisco Ballet.
Alumni have gone on to dance with Sadlers Wells Ballet, BalletX, Texas Ballet Theater and Ballet Austin. We proudly offer top-notch instruction in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, cheer, musical theater, hip hop, and more! We have classes to accommodate dancers from age 2 1/2 through adult. We also periodically host master classes and specialty classes.
These requirements are set up to create the most well-rounded and advanced training for the dancers; for the versatility and advancement of their dance technique and movement skills; as well as, of course, interest, diversity, and fun!Girls: Pink leotard, pink tights, and simple skirt (please no tutus as they tend to be a distraction), leather, full sole ballet shoes.

We provide weekly drop in classes for adults in ballet, modern, tap, Latin cardio, contemporary, Pilates, & more!. High level of training is available for adults of all levels: for those who are staying in shape for dance careers, and those who are using dance as an emotional outlet between workdays.

Our Mommy and Me class is one that will leave you with memories to cherish forever with your little one. It will work on strengthening the bond between you and your child through the stimulation of dance, where your little one will learn to dance and play with the comfort of having you by their side.

We offer classes for students as young as 2 1/2. Class levels are based on age, ability, and the dancer's maturity. Placement in class levels is at the teacher's discretion. Please contact one of our teachers to discuss your child's experience and skill level, and we will direct you to the classes that will be most appropriate.

Our ballet students are assessed annually and they perform before an audience of parents and friends. It is not a competition and a specially selected Judge will evaluate the dancers, and award medals and certificates to each student. The Awards typically take place during the latter part of February.
