Founded in 1950, Fullerton Community Nursery School is a National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited parent participation preschool located near downtown Fullerton. We still have spots open in Ms. Mcikey's class Group I (Monday and Tuesday) and in Miss Melissa's Mommy and Me Class (Wednesdays) for toddlers ages 18 - 36 months.

Fullerton Community Nursery School is a warm, nurturing school that provides a place for children to develop social skills and cultivate curiosity to help maximize later education. We respect each child for his/her unique individuality and accept his/her learning pace. We know the importance of play and will not rush children through the experiences of being a child.
Classes
Report
As in all our classes, the classes for 3-year-olds (Groups I and III) focus on the development of the whole child. Our 4-year-old classes focus on the development of the whole child with an eye on kindergarten readiness. Our goal is for children moving on to kindergarten to be able to count to 20, recognize some letters and numbers, write their first name, be able to follow directions, routines, focus at storytime, and cooperate with others.
Responsibilties

Your volunteer role in the classroom will come every two to three weeks, depending on class size. Each group has one teacher and three parent assistants for snack, art, and game responsibilities. Being in the classroom lets you view and participate in your child's school experience in a memorable way.
Tuition
Report
Various registration days are slated throughout late March for the following school year. A non-refundable deposit of $80 is required at the time of registration to hold your child's spot for the fall. Registration paperwork will be given to you at your registration session for completion and return before the school year begins.
