Summer of Surf is a surf and beach camp that provides daily transportation to the beach and has been serving Pasadena and neighboring cities for 7 years. We run from the Beginning of June to the end of August for ages 7 and up. We offer an array of beach activities including surfing, boogie-boarding, swimming and games.
Our focus is on providing a safe and supportive atmosphere for your child to grow and develop their skills in the ocean, whether they are brand new to the ocean or they are an experienced surfer. For 2019 we have partnered with Perfect Day Surf Camp, a Santa Monica based surf camp that has been in business for 16 years.

Getting Ready for Camp

Lunch- Your camper will need to bring a packed lunch. Please plan and pack your lunches keeping in mind there is no refrigeration available. We also like to discourage excessive waste, particularly single use plastics (wrappers, straws, etc.) We will have snacks for the bus ride home, but we suggest packing your own snacks, particularly if your camper have any dietary restrictions, allergies, etc.

We are staffing up for the summer and looking for more amazing people to join the team. We are looking for Counselors, Jr. Counselors, and CITs. We always like to have former campers on the team, so if you want to come play in the sand with us, please have the send us an email with their resume, a brief cover letter, and their summer availability (school dates, vacation, etc.)

My son began surfing thanks to Summer of Surf, as this is a sport that no one in our family has figured out. Now 6 years later he continues to join the camp every summer for surfing adventures and karaoke fun. Sadly, this may be his last summer since he's graduating HS and heading to college.
