trap't Escape Room Adventures is Stamford, Connecticut's first and highest rated Escape Room. We created trap't after experiencing and enjoying many Escape Rooms around the world as a family. It is our goal to provide a premium experience that combines traditional and technological puzzles, locks and clues that will stretch people's minds while promoting team work and collaboration. We developed room themes that are a bit different from the norm by incorporating deep stories and narratives that are meant to (at least partially) suspend reality and take you to a new place for 60 minutes.

Our experiences have been designed for groups made up of families, friends, and co-workers. We also own Panic Room in both Stamford, CT and Norwalk, CT. We have additional rooms at those locations. We are also the owners of Bananas' Axe Cabana in Orlando, Florida and New Rochelle, NY. Our locations are convenient to towns throughout Connecticut and Westchester including: Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich, Darien, Westport, Fairfield, Danbury, New Haven, Bridgeport, Orange, White Plains, Rye, and Port Chester. Time Chasers

Time Chasers: Race for the Cure transports players through four interconnected time-travel scenarios. As recruits of the Time Chaser Corps, teams must solve puzzles to find a presidential cure. The experience combines historical elements with futuristic technology in a continuous narrative spanning multiple rooms.

Museum Mayhem

Museum Mayhem challenges teams to restore order to a vandalized Connecticut museum before tonight's gala. Players must solve art-related puzzles and reassemble exhibits under time pressure. The game tests observational skills and teamwork in a high-stakes restoration scenario.

Abducted Escape

Abducted: Escape from the Madman places players in a suspenseful kidnapping scenario. Starting locked in a closet, teams must solve puzzles to escape before the captor returns. The game features intense theming and sequential problem-solving in a high-tension environment.

Tremors on the Tracks

Tremors on the Tracks traps players in a NYC subway station after an earthquake. Teams must solve structural puzzles to escape before the station collapses. The game features environmental challenges and collaborative problem-solving in a simulated disaster scenario.

Portable Escape Games

Portable Escape Games brings full escape room experiences to homes, offices, or events. These mobile adventures maintain the same quality and complexity as fixed locations. The service allows private groups to enjoy escape room challenges in custom locations with minimal setup requirements.

What age range are your escape rooms designed for?

Our rooms accommodate players aged 12 and up, with family-friendly options available. Some scenarios contain mild intensity elements.

How many players can participate in each escape room?

Rooms accommodate 2-8 players depending on the specific game. Larger groups can book multiple rooms simultaneously for team-building events.

Are reservations required for escape room experiences?

We strongly recommend booking reservations in advance through our online system. Walk-ins are accommodated based on availability.

What safety measures are in place during escape room games?

All rooms have emergency exits, monitoring systems, and staff supervision. Players can exit at any time with no physical restrictions.

The activity -Lost Treasure - is ok. it's the customer service that we are disappointed. When we came in we asked where we can hang our coats, we were told there are two hooks left where we can hang them ( there's 5 of us). We finished with 7 minutes left in our time. The guy came in and told us it's done, and turned off the lights right away.When we asked if we can take pictures, we were told we can't because there's a bday party going on. We felt being rushed out of the place. It just felt like they just wanted to get rid of us, when we haven't even finished the whole hour. Really disappointed

We had a family gathering and did the online escape room together
I had very low experience coming but I gotta say it blew us away
The game was extremely engaging with several people being able to work on separate things all at once to "escape the room"

Awesome, imaginative escape rooms. Rooms allow for solving multiple puzzles at the same time - which is great when you have several people and dont want to have everyone on the same problem. Also rooms arent just locks. In other words, its not just solve a problem, get code to a lock, open lock and move on to next puzzle. Highly recommend.

We played the Time Chasers room and we just absolutely delighted with the room. Very solid scenic design, lots of fun surprises, clever puzzles. Just a ton of fun! This is definitely the best room I've done in CT so far. Can easily recommend this to anyone who loves escape rooms. With the caveat that this probably shouldn't be your first escape room. There is a LOT of ground to cover and not a ton of wiggle room to get stuck for too long. Can't wait to return and try their other rooms.

This was my first time at an escape room and it was a lot of fun! Although they allow up to 10 people to play at once, I recommend going with a smaller group. The staff do help you along the way in case you get stuck. We definitely needed their help.

The best part of this event for us was the Virtual Experience. OMG THE BEST. The Escape room was the hardest and find that 1 hour for us would not have been enough. Since they told us at the end that we had the hardest room THE CURE. The staff is great and super helpful. If we were to come back definitely to do Virtual rooms.

We had a lot of fun doing the Museum of Mayhem escape room. It was 3, 12 yr olds and two adults, our first time here. It was challenging but fun. We would all go back again.
