Our wine journey started in 2002 when a trip to Europe exposed us to the world of wine. Since that time, we have visited many of the amazing wine regions of the world building our passion and knowledge one bottle at a time. We personally visit the vineyards and wineries to build relationships with the winemakers and owners.

Founded in 1897, Pope Valley Winery manages to still elicit the feel of the early California pioneer lifestyle and a chance to reflect back on simpler times. Situated above Napa Valley on the northern face of Howell Mountain, the winery is built into the hillside and the estate vineyards were planted as far back as 1940.
Calafia Cellars

Randle and MaryLee Johnson are long-time friends of Omaha Wine Company. Randle started as Winemaker for The Hess Collection in 1983, but he's been making wine under his own label, Calafia, for 30 years as well. Made from their own estate grapes blended with small quantities of grapes from other vineyards, these fine examples of Napa Valley wine have managed to stay largely under the radar for all that time!
Lewis Cellars

Randy and Debbie Lewis established Lewis Cellars in Napa Valley in 1992. Randy, a former race car driver, traded the track for the vineyard and is hands on when it comes to making world-class wines from the finest fruit in Napa Valley. Their total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Back in February, OWC was invited and attended Premiere Napa Valley as we've done for the last 20 years. We stumbled upon a winery that we hadn't heard of and decided to try the wine. Located in the northeastern hills just beyond Howell Mountain in Napa Valley, Pope Valley is owned by the brother-sister team of David Eakle and Diana Hawkins.
