As most of you know, I have taken time off from my practice this year. During this time I have reflected on my career path. I have been able to objectively assess whether a small private practice is viable in today's medical environment of high overhead expenses, insurance regulations, etc. Sadly, I have concluded that returning as a solo practitioner will not be professionally rewarding.
And, unfortunately there are no alternative practice opportunities for me in Cobb County or surrounding areas. I have been offered and I have accepted a permanent position in Florence, South Carolina at the Medical University of South Carolina - Florence Medical Center. As a board certified Urogynecologist, my practice there will focus on Urogynecology which is the care of urinary incontinence and surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.

The Patient Portal is a convenient, secure tool providing 24-hour access to Scott Gynecology from your computer or mobile device for every patient with an internet connection. By allowing you to communicate directly with Dr. Scott's office, you can request APPOINTMENTS, access your medical history and communicate with the office by secure email messaging.
Medical Records
Report
A hard copy of your records can be mailed to you. There is a $30 fee to print and mail your records to offset the cost of producing the records. You can pay by credit card or by check. Lastly, you can request that your records be sent to you by email. Email is not considered secure and HIPAA compliant.
