Robotic Hysterectomy
Robotic hysterectomy uses advanced da Vinci technology for precise, minimally invasive uterus removal. Patients benefit from smaller incisions, reduced pain, and faster recovery. Ideal for treating fibroids, endometriosis, and cancer, this procedure requires only a 2-week recovery period. Our surgeons perform over 2,500 such cases annually.
Endometriosis Excision
Laparoscopic excision removes endometrial tissue growths causing pain and infertility. Our approach preserves fertility while restoring pelvic anatomy. Patients typically resume activities within 2 weeks, with 90% reporting significant pain reduction post-surgery. Over 500 procedures performed annually.
Fibroid Removal
Minimally invasive fibroid removal preserves uterine integrity for future pregnancies. Techniques include robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic approaches. Patients experience minimal blood loss and same-day discharge, with 85% returning to normal activities within 3 weeks. Over 600 fibroid cases treated yearly.
Pelvic Prolapse Repair
Robotic sacrocolpopexy corrects pelvic organ prolapse using mesh reinforcement. This outpatient procedure offers 6-week full recovery with 95% success rates in symptom resolution. Combines urologic and colorectal expertise for complex cases, ensuring comprehensive anatomical restoration.
Uterine Ablation
Thermal or cryoablation destroys excessive uterine lining to treat heavy bleeding. Performed in-office with 25-minute sessions, this non-surgical option provides permanent symptom relief for 80% of patients. Ideal for those seeking alternatives to hysterectomy with minimal downtime.

Dr. Mordel and his staff are wonderful. Cant say enough good things about them. They walked me though my procedure and it was the most amazing experience. If I could give a million stars on this review I would. I will forever be grateful to him and his staff: Nicole and Freedom. #feelGreat #FeelFinFantastic. Thank you for everything. Tip what they dont say: on your drive home - go SLOW and/or take back roads. This is a must! Besides that listen to all their recommendations and read the paperwork. It is a lot of reading but everything is there. Lastly: listen to your body and rest

Dr. Mordel is definitely a Blessing to have met. He takes the worry and stress out of you time you meet him. I'm very impressed with how calm he is and how he found my issues quickly and is acting even quicker to get me fixed up. I truly had "chills" because I can feel that He, Freedom and the staff truly care about us as patients. It's not often that the atmosphere is really pleasant. Freedom is very personable and will make you feel like everything will be alright. The office is also working hard to follow the Covid Protocols. So please be mindful of that and only you are allowed at ur office

Dr. Nathan Mordel and the Atlanta Minimally Invasive Gyn. Surgery Ctr. and his TEAM without a doubt have become my saving grace. I am now 4.5wks out since undergoing my Robotic Supracervial Partial Hysterectomy and I honestly feel as if I have been given a brand new lease on my life! The day after my surgery I woke up an immediately noticed that the edema and swelling to my lower extremities was gone! The pain in my feet and knees which was caused by the swelling.... gone! The shortness of breath caused by the growing size of my uterus.... all gone as well! I had tried a myomectomy 9 years prior

I wish I could leave a review on Dr. Nathan but unfortunately I didnt get to meet him. Apparently the office has moved rooms and no one at the front desk is aware. My instructions were not clear and the reception act as if I was bothering her by needing information. After being directed all over the hospital in search for the suite I missed my appointment that has been scheduled out for months. Of course the office staff is unbothered of my pain but it was very deflating going to a healthcare provider and cant get any help after waiting MONTHS.

x 10 and etc. I cannot give enough stars to Dr. Mordel. I will try to make this brief. I had a fibroid which weighed 10 pounds. Every surgeon I went to said there could be NO WAY possible it could be removed robotically. Being that this fibroid was larger than my liver, I was told my incision would have to be from the bottom of my breast line all the way down. I had never had surgery before so I was frantic to hear this and even think about being cut in that way. I did research and Thank God I found Dr. Mordel. Without going into a lot of detail. My surgery was 4

I would like to say first and foremost that Dr. Mordel and his staff are WONDERFUL BLESSINGS!!! I would STILL be at home recovering if it were not for him. I came up to Piedmont from South Georgia and although I was a bit apprehensive about being so far from home, I had the best experience one could hope for. When I came up for pre-op, Dr. Mordel did my ultrasound himself. When I returned for the procedure later in the week and was brought into the operating room, HE WAS THERE AND HE HELD MY HAND THE ENTIRE TIME THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST WAS PUTTING ME UNDER! After the procedure and even though he
