Since we moved to the wine country in 2019, my husband went wine tasting in many places, we selected about 5 wineries to become members. But Picayune is my gem. Starting with the service, Jene Marie and Carly are the most friendly host we've enconter, cozy place, great wine, live music on Fridays. It can't be better than that!

The core of my wines (labels with key), I make every year and you might find them in a few select restaurants and wine shops. The labels with the white embossed Navajo blanket are my more personal wines. I make less than 10 barrels of each of those wines, they always have a quote and a dedication to somebody special for me.

Over the years I have try to keep a few cases of some of the wines I wanted to see aged. My red blends - especially the Rive Gauche and the Padlock but I also was curious to see what happened with my white wines. I always warn people asking me about aging wines - it is not for everybody, it is an acquired taste and there is nothing wrong about that.

What happens when a French woman from Auvergne moves to California? Well - she brings her California Francaise shirts in her suitcase (The company is based in Claire's hometown). Then she gets enamored with Pendleton and native American design. Our apparel collection is an eclectic selection from Claire's personal taste and decision to support family owned businesses!
