
The Studio is a boutique Classical Pilates studio and retail store located in San Rafael's West End Village. Our teachers have gone through rigorous Classical Pilates certification programs under some of the best teachers in the country, as well as numerous seminars and workshops taught by top Classical Pilates professionals.
Each instructor at The Studio has completed over 700+ hours of Classical Pilates training, observation, and teaching. Our studio is fully equipped with Gratz Classical Pilates equipment and we currently offer intimate group classes, and private and duet sessions. The Studio has a curated retail selection with the latest styles in athletic apparel by Alo Yoga and Emily Hsu.

Classical Pilates works to connect your body, mind, and spirit through concentration and control of one's own muscles. Classical Pilates is a full body workout that both stretches and strengthens at the same time, with a deep emphasis on the core. No muscle is ever over-trained or under-trained. It improves joint mobility and flexibility, improves posture and balance.
Classes

The Studio Marin offers small group Classical Pilates classes as well as privates and duets. Due to high interest in private sessions and to minimize the number of people in the studio, in person group classes will remain off the schedule until further notice. Virtual classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays.

Carolyn and Sarah lead you through a quick workout targeting those 3 big muscle groups that we always want to tone quickly! We start with 5 minutes of abs, move into 5 minutes of butt and finish with 5 minutes of arms. Grab light weights for the arm section, but if you don't have them, just move your arms with us!
