If you are not able to come into the office, many of the tutors are able to come to the students' home. Students also have the ability to tutor virtually regardless of where they live, but especially, if they do not live in the NY metro area. The Curvebreakers office in Garden City, NY is walking distance from the Mineola LIRR train station and is located near the intersection of Washington Ave (Roslyn Rd) and Old Country Road.

Our program is based around you, the student. We never use cookie cutter plans to instruct our students, and treat everyone like family. Our program was developed by our owner, Nicholas LaPoma, who has spent over a decade fine tuning his test preparation strategies and program and has guided numerous students to vast scoring improvements, 99th percentile scores, and admission to dream colleges and Ivy League schools.
SAT Test Prep

One of the most frequently asked questions we get asked is how to begin the test prep process. If your student has never taken an official or practice SAT or PSAT, we recommend students start with a full-length, timed SAT exam. We can accommodate students who qualify for extended time on the exam. Students who are new to Curvebreakers may take their first two tests for FREE and will receive their cumulative scores only.
