Docked in scenic Saugatuck, our boat in the heart of West Michigan, but we also fish out of St. Joseph, South Haven, Holland, and Grand Haven. Leave the dock at 6 am and back after dark. This trip is for the dedicated group that wants to fish from daylight 'til dark. We will treat you like royalty on this trip with morning fishing, a prepared and provided lunch on the boat as we take a break from fishing at mid-day, then set back up for the night fishing push as you watch the sunset over beautiful Lake Michigan.

I would like to start off saying thanks to our sponsors. Last weekend we fished some slightly stained water and the raze Eyewear really helped me to determine if we were in the right water. Also dreamweaver lures. Fishing is heating up between saugatuck and south haven. Yesterday we fished 20 to 40 fow and had a great catch of 9 lake trout 2 kings and 11 coho.
About the Captain

Captain Eric Schippa is a 3rd generation charter fisherman from the port of Saugatuck Michigan. Few other fishermen have been fishing the port for as long or have the family history in the community of fisherman that Eric has behind him. Eric began charter fishing with his dad, Kevin Schippa, at the age of seven during his summer break from school.

The Blue Chip is a 31' Tiara Open that offers a large heated cockpit and cabin as well as a bathroom for your comfort. The bathroom is a private, roomy, stand-up full bathroom. Our vessel is equipped with the latest and greatest in electronics and fishing equipment to find the fish and for safe navigation.
What to Bring
Report
Bring a cooler for the transport of your catch (you don't need to bring this on the boat, just have it for after we come back to the dock to put all your fish in to get them home). Upon return to the dock Captain Eric (or his first make lackey) will hang your fish, take some pictures, clean them, package them to take home.
