We have been playing around offshore - out past 200 foot of water for over a week. I knew it would not keep going forever; but, our catch of beautiful Coho (Silver) Salmon and Steelhead (Ocean Run Rainbow Trout) was worth it. On Sunday the Salmon and Steelhead bite finally dried up offshore and we decided that we better head in where the Lake Trout are biting.

MIRYHA is a 36' Trojan set up perfectly for fishing on Lake Michigan. We are fully set up for fishing with downriggers, lead and copper lines, dipsy divers, and planer boards. Your time on MIRYHA will allow you to be a part of a sportfishing experience set up to go after the best fish Lake Michigan has to offer.
What to Bring

Probably the most important thing that you need to have, is a Michigan Fishing License. For those of you that do not have a Michigan Drivers License, make sure you check the "Buy a DNR Sportcard for $1". The instructions are vague and it can create confusion when obtaining licenses online. Bring a cooler for food and drinks.

All charters are operated by a USCG Licensed captain who will guide your sportfishing experience. Charters can be set up for times that best fit your schedule, with most customers doing either half-day or full-day sport fishing experiences. All Day: Leave the dock at 6 am and back after dark. This trip is for the dedicated group that wants to fish from daylight 'til dark.

Miryha is found at slip #5 at the Saugatuck Yacht Service. Not the Saugatuck Yacht Club; which, is on the other side of the Kalamazoo river. We have had some issues in the past. For those of you who know Saugatuck well, Miryha is located in front of the Peterson Mill. Park in the Marina parking areas (inside the large boat barns is OK) and head south (toward downtown Saugatuck) between the White and Tan buildings to find us ready to go.
