While Greenwich AeroGroup was established in 2007, the history of our companies took wing decades ago - not long after fixed-wing powered flight became a reality. Greenwich AeroGroup's oldest company, MK Aviation, was founded by Morrison Knudson in 1957 to maintain its fleet of DC-3s supporting the Hoover Dam project; it became Western Aircraft in the 1980s.
