The Greater Washington (DC) Business Aviation Association is a regional affiliate of NBAA founded in 2005. GWBAA membership provides opportunities for ongoing learning and networking with the business aviation community. Our mission is to represent and support the business aviation community in the Greater Washington DC area.

Working to enhance communications among and to enhance the professional livelihood of its members. Providing educational and other support activities to advance the interests of business aviation within the Greater Washington area.
Membership
Report
Membership in the GWBAA is open to both individuals and organizations, with dues structured at nominal levels - $50 for individuals and $115 for companies/groups. By completing the membership application you acknowledge that your membership is subject to the terms of the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of GWBAA, and that your membership information may be published in the GWBAA directory.

Agostino's keynote, Professionalism in Aviation, focuses on the key component of safety, the individual. Professionalism and safety are not mutually exclusive; therefore we have to understand the various levels of professionalism.

A recipient of the Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award as well as several other NBAA safety awards, Mr. Agostino was selected for the 2003 Laureate Award the 2007 Aviation Week and Space Technology Laureate Award.The first recipient of the Business & Commercial Aviation Vision Award, he has also received commendations from the FAA, US Navy, and the FBI for his pioneering work in aviation safety.

The weather was bright and sunny and over 65 golfers hit the course in support of GWBAA, the Aero Club Foundation of Washington and Corporate Angel Network. Yvette Rose from the Aero Club of Washington addressed the lunch crowd to describe the great work the Aero Club does for Washington DC youth introducing them to careers in aviation.

GWBAA also thanks our keynote speaker, Robert Agostino; our other speakers; and our sponsors, listed below. The keynote speaker was Greg Feith, a former member of the NTSB and an aviation safety and security expert. The event started the night before with over half of the attendees enjoying a networking reception at the Lansdowne Resort.
