Captain Wayne is a licensed Coast Guard Captain, merchant marine officer with a Masters Certificate with over 20 years of (family owned and operated) boating experience. He has placed numerous times in many tournaments in the Connecticut area. He has extensive experience in various local and offshore waters including our own Connecticut River where he runs bird watching cruises in the fall.

There's a myth behind women and children (fishing). I personally think they catch fish just as well as anyone, and sometimes even better than the professional fishermen that want to do it their way. They listen to our mates, they get in the chair, they turn their rods and their reels the correct way - because there's a coach right there teaching you.

Both of our boats are women-friendly. Our boats are clean and taken care of. When you come on, they smell like Lemon Pledge. When you leave, the box is full of fillets, and the mate will bag them for you. We cater to bachelorette parties, we have more vessels and can take larger parties, for a comfortable and unbelievable experience.

Whether you are a birdwatcher or not, the Connecticut River has many rare species of birds as well as common birds (Tree Swallows) that offer us the opportunity to see nature at its best! Bring your binoculars, cameras and tripods as well as warm clothing and maybe something hot to drink! Tree Swallows gather on the wing in one huge, tightly choreographed flock!
