Captain Sloan Gurney is an energetic, friendly, expert fisherman. Raised in Orient Point, his home for 35 years, his expertise of local waters and fishing account for much of his success. A commercial fisherman since the 1980's and professional rod and reel striped bass fisherman, Capt. Sloan received his Master Captains License from the Coast Guard in 1985 and is one of the few licensed commercial rod and reel striped bass fishermen in NY State.

Excellent for young kids' trip or adults who want to get out for a nice trip, catch a bunch of fish and have fun. Full Day 7am-3pm $1500 Striped Bass, Blues and combo with Black Sea Bass, Fluke, Scup (Porgies), or Blackfish. Some groups travel from far and like to leave at 8am, this is ok, just ask.
