I ordered and paid for a 1970 Fonseca Port wine online. I received a confirming email the same day and a charge on my credit card was submitted. Two days later I got en email saying sorry for the inconvenience but the price of the wine went up by over $100. They said they could let me have it for just $40 additional! I declined, saying we already had a deal and I expected them to honor it. No dice. Id say stay away from these folks.

After way over a decade and numerous cases, I am very grateful to Bob and his crew- Kevin and Sam-for so many distinctive and delicious wines-at a great price. And if you're up for the Adventure, these guys can show you how huge the world of magical wine really is.

My wife and I frequent this wine store and love it! All of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their Saturday wine tastings are always worth it. They put together newsletter wines that are typically wonderful. Their prices are amazing. I would say they changed entirely how we buy wine. Very happy.

I've been buying wines from Bob and company for 10 years now. They have educated me more than anyone else in my life about wines. Prices are the best in town. Go in and tell them what you like and then sit back and enjoy. Go into learn! My happy place....go in and leave the ego at the door

I bought 2 cases (24 bottles) of wine from this place. I checked with them if they could pack the cases for me in 2 boxes. I was told they could. When I went home and checked my bill, I realized I was charged for 26 bottles... to add to that, the 2 bottles that I was overcharged for (which I never bought) cost a lot higher than any of the bottles I purchased. In addition, the even more ridiculous thing is they charged me $10 for each case/box in which they put the wine! If someone buys a case which is 12 bottles of wine, shouldn't they get a box at no charge to carry the wine in?! I called them

The friendliness of the staff is mixed. If you don't go in frequently, the customer service is not particularly good. I find the manager, Bob, by far the least friendly and helpful of the staff. I have since found other wine stores that are more approachable, so no longer patronize L & E.
