The purpose of the Merry-Go-Round Nursery School is to provide various activities which enable the individual child to develop and learn at his/her own growth rate. We hope to accomplish this through an informal and flexible program. We believe that the combination of personal and social supports of great importance.
As teachers, we serve as resources and facilitators in that we provide information and offer support to both children and parents. We feel that children also learn a great deal from each other. They learn from experimentation and from the use of carefully designed materials. Our philosophy and curriculum are carefully planned to include learning experiences that the child implements through interactive play and teacher initiated activities.
