The R.W. Walker Funeral Home began operations in 1938 on Station Street in Chazy, NY. The company was founded by the late Robert W. Walker and his wife Lois W. (Gray)Walker. In1944 Mr. Walker purchased the Levy House located at 69 Court Street in Plattsburgh, which is now the permanent place of business.

Staff members of R.W. Walker Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Barbara Maggy is a New York State Licensed Funeral Director and has been with our firm since August of 1988.
