Redwood Christian Schools is a private learning community serving the children in the East Bay Area as well as international students from around the world. We are located 25 miles southeast of San Francisco and currently equip homeschool students and students on two campuses: one in Castro Valley for children in transitional Kindergarten (TK) to grade five, and the second in San Lorenzo for children in grade six to grade twelve.

While academics and faith are the top priority, we also offer competitive athletics and comprehensive programs in fine arts.

One constant in Redwood Christian's history has been the dedication and passion of our faculty, who strive to inspire a love of learning in students while preparing them for college and life beyond RCS. We want our students to soar like in Isaiah 40:28: "They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Aligned Curriculum

To provide physical education that promotes fitness, athletic skills, fair play, and teamwork. The mission of RCS is to equip students for daily living and eternal life. This mission is accomplished through an integrated TK - 12th curriculum. An RCS student will not only be able to read, write, and problem solve, but also be "Inspired" to identify, improve, and use the unique gifts and talents God has given them.
TK – Kindergarten

In Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten at RCS, students find that learning is fun! Students' first exposure to the classroom should be in a loving, structured environment and RCS offers this and more. Both TK and Kindergarten are full day programs, designed to maintain the young child's eagerness to learn with hands-on, engaging, and stimulating lessons.
Elementary
Report
Lower elementary students at RCS are ready for Serious Adventure! Students learn how to push through the fear of failure and distractions to experience the adventure of learning and growing. Students develop a growth mindset as they practice the fundamentals of reading, writing, arithmetic, and Bible.
Middle School
Report
At Redwood Christian Middle School, experienced teachers understand the developmental needs of middle school students and use Biblical, instructional, and support strategies that accelerate student learning, teach students to form positive relationships, and increase productive behaviors in the classroom.
