Students enjoy learning a variety of styles of music while acquiring technique on the instrument of their choice. We also offer music theory, college prep, and/or performance skills for adults and children. Whether you want to learn chords, read music, or help with college prep, we are here to assist.
Band Instrument Rentals

There is a promotional period After the first 4 months, minus taxes and the damage wavier your monthly payment is applied toward the purchase of your instrument. If your child decides the first instrument chosen is not the instrument of for them, this program allows you to exchange the the instrument within the first year for a $20.00 fee.
Summer Music Program

Make music with your peers, play in a band. Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggie, R&B and more. Musicianship is about preparing students not just to be players of an instrument but to play well with others, be aware of musical surroundings and hone listening skills while having a great time doing it.
The opportunity for each young musician to explore music theory, music composition, ear training (listening & timing), and to receive guidance in developing personal expression and musicianship through playing popular songs and writing an original piece with other musicians.Making music over the summer is a great way for your child to keep up with their instrument and learn in the process.

Music participation provides a unique opportunity for literacy preparation. Whether the children are singing, playing, or listening, teachers direct them to listen and hear in new ways which exercises their aural discrimination. Playing instruments and adding movement to the lessons teaches children about sequential learning which is essential in reading comprehension.

We are looking forward to seeing you for some one on one music lessons. We understand that the last few months of stay-safe at home have played a part in allowing us to open at partial occupancy. We are following the guidelines for the reopening of Connecticut and CDC protocols. We will need to follow these guidelines to have a fun and safe music program here at Face Arts Music.
