A Sound Choice is a local owner operated music store located in Branford CT. Owner Ken Johnson has been playing music for over 50 years and is a lifelong resident of Branford. Having performed for many years Ken knows guitars, amps and great tone. Ken is the repairman doing all guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, violin, viola banjo and other stringed instruments.

All of our teachers are professional musicians with years of experience in performing and teaching. We have expanded our program to offer in addition to guitar and bass, lessons on piano, upright bass (double bass), drums, beginner ukulele, mandolin and banjo.
