What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Missed appointments incur a $75 fee for follow-ups or loss of $100 deposit for initial visits.
Do you accept insurance?
We don't accept insurance but provide receipts for out-of-network acupuncture claims. FSA/HSA accounts may cover services.
Can you serve as primary care provider?
Virginia law restricts NDs from primary care roles. We function as consulting providers co-managing patients with their primary physicians.
Why separate acupuncture and naturopathic services?
Separate billing accommodates different patient needs and insurance coverage for acupuncture services in Virginia.

Dr. Sarah has been instrumental in my care. Originally referred by my primary care doctor, I had some hesitations going to see a holistic doctor. Dr. Sarah, however, completely disillusioned me of the spa cult ideas I had by providing me with all the knowledge I requested behind her supplement suggestions. She also found several viral markers and thyroid dysfunction through requested blood work that had been missed by my primary care doctor. Sarah is wonderful, and a great resource for tough health issues. I was suffering from chronic hair loss and hormonal problems. Sarah was able to find research that supported some supplementation recommendations, and both issues resolved within several months. She also did the legwork to track down a great new endocrinologist for me, who I've been going to and love. She's got a great demeanor and she really listens and takes the time to research science-based options. I can't recommend her enough!

Dr. Giardenelli ensures that when treating you for a health problem that she understands the whole picture of your health. She provides thorough health care, a treatment plan and she is able to coordinate care with other doctors (in my case a doctor with the INOVA Medical Group). She has a great bedside manner and really cares about her patients!

Dr. Sarah is the kindest most empathetic care giver I have ever experienced in my 73 years. I suffered with Lyme disease for over 10 years and the diagnosis was a long time coming. Damage was extensive to my entire system. I met with Dr. Sarah 3 years after my "recovery"...you don't ever leave Lyme behind. I was still suffering. She listened and questioned and then did her research and came up with extremely helpful therapies. Her tender care for her patients is beyond phenomenal. Do yourself a favor ...see her as soon as possible...you will be helped.
