Bloom Yoga is a worker-owned yoga co-op dedicated to an inclusive, healing, and empowering yoga practice. Our teachers offer a range of classes that invite you to breathe deeply and connect with yourself and others while you open and strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. We hope to plant seeds that will help you root down, be present, move, grow, and change: to "bloom" into your truest self.
I've been practicing yoga (both vinyasa and Yin) since 2013 and teaching Yin yoga for the past few years. I've completed my 200-hour teacher training and Yin yoga trainings led by Julie Theisen, Shannon Stephens, Nancy Nelson, and Josh Summers; I'm also certified in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method (TCYM).

This heated class, inspired by the Baptiste Journey into Power sequence, will help you build a strong foundation and invite transformation. You can expect to sweat during an invigorating, energizing flow that concludes with seated and reclined postures perfect for opening and releasing muscles. We offer modifications so that the class is suitable for all levels.

Please try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, in order to get settled on your mat. We generally open our doors 30 minutes before class, and our doors close promptly when class is scheduled to begin. It's generally recommended that you practice yoga on an empty stomach. Especially if you're taking a rigorous heated class (Strong Roots Power or Grow and Flow Vinyasa), we recommend that you don't eat prior to practice.
