My first lesson was back in '03 at Diamond Head in Ohua, and I couldn't ride a wave for the life of me. Fast forward to 2018, now I'm able to catch some easy waves on my own; I can turn and brake.
This was only my second lesson since Diamond Head. All thanks to Kiki and Kimo for their clear instructions and guidance. They've given me more confidence to further my skills. My son and I had a fantastic morning with Ikaika and Kimo for our first time surfing. Welcomed us like family, showed us the basics to get us out on the water and shared expert tips when we were ready.
