The Siena School(R) was established in 2006 to provide students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, a rich and meaningful education that would prepare them for college, and for success in life. As the program took shape, a larger opportunity and its mission became clear: create one of the nation's finest schools for bright students who learn differently.

Students at our Silver Spring campus continue their studies in high school history courses with U.S. History (grade 9), Government (grade 10), and World Cultures (grade 11). These classes are conducted seminar-style with a focus on analyzing primary source texts to engage students and personalize their understanding of each topic studied.
