A non-profit forming riders of all abilities in the classical equine tradition, with empathetic hearts. North Star Stables NOVA, a 501c3 organization, was founded on the dream that people of all abilities can co-exist in a recreational and academic setting. The setting for that dream is a high-caliber riding academy founded in the spirit of classical riding principles for the well-being of the horse.
Our riders, their families, and our equine team members receive the highest levels of care and empathy because we believe that "choose kindness" is a philosophy to live by. We hope to be a respite from the harsh realities of the world and to be positive role models for true inclusion in the community at large.

Who We Are

North Star offers instruction in classical horsemanship for people of all abilities. Our current programs include private and small group riding lessons and Summer camps. Carriage driving and hippotherappy are in-development. Instruction, on the ground and in the saddle, focuses on balance for the health of the horse.

Our lesson program focuses on total horsemanship, on the ground and in the saddle. We believe that knowledge gives us the power to care for these magnificent beasts so they live a long, healthy life.
