Twin Oaks Riding Academy
We offer lessons, boarding and training in Loudoun County for children, teens, and adults in the Northern Virginia area. Our weekly lesson program is great for a casual recreational rider, while our boarding and training program caters to the more serious equestrian and his or her horse. We also offer day camps for children throughout the year. We look forward to sharing our passion for horses with you!
Services
Lessons
Report
We have an active lesson program for kids and adults! Our weekly lesson program, taught on our wonderful school horses, is geared for a recreational rider who is looking to learn proper horsemanship and riding skills in a group environment. Our classes are small (typically 4-5 students) and are generally grouped by age and ability.
Horse Camps
Report
Our camps are perfect for an eager horse-crazy kid who wants to learn about all things horse! Our camp program is designed to be a "full picture" of what it's like to care for horses- grooming, feeding, tack cleaning, mucking stalls, equine first aid, and of course riding! Please see sections below for descriptions to determine an appropriate camp for your child.
Girl Scouts & Parties
Report
Twin Oaks is proud to be an approved Girl Scout vendor and has had many Daisy, Brownie, and Junior troops visit the barn and earn their Horseback Riding Badge! We can also host birthday parties for your horse-crazy child. We have a minimum of 5 children to do a private group event. Depending on the size of your group, we may do a 1 1/2 or 2 hour experience that includes grooming, tacking, a beginner riding lesson, and horse care activities.
Boarding
Report
Separate from the lesson and camp program, Twin Oaks offers a boarding and training program for clients with their own horse! With barn owner and staff living on-site, your horse receives personalized care and attention. Turn out groups of 2-4 horses, in spacious paddocks with ample pasture (Private turnout available at additional cost).
Current News
