Services
Palliative Care
Our home-based palliative care provides extra support for patients with serious illnesses like cancer and heart disease. This service includes pain management, emotional support, and coordination with primary physicians to help patients maintain quality of life through personalized care plans that respect individual preferences and cultural backgrounds.
Hospice Care
Compassionate hospice services focus on comfort rather than cure for patients with terminal diagnoses. Our interdisciplinary teams deliver medical care, pain management, and emotional support while respecting patients' wishes through individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in home or hospice house settings.
Transitions Program
This free program assists patients and families adapting to life-limiting illnesses through emotional support and education. Our team helps initiate end-of-life discussions, provides decision-making guidance, and connects patients with community resources while offering volunteer companionship to support families during transitional periods.
Spiritual Counseling
Our spiritual counselors provide unbiased support for patients and families from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Services include exploring life's meaning, healing relationships, and facilitating rituals or sacraments while respecting individual beliefs and creating environments for peace and connection during end-of-life journeys.
Grief Support
Free grief support services include virtual and in-person support groups, individual counseling, and educational resources for families coping with loss. Our bereavement team offers specialized programs for adults and children, including eight free counseling sessions for hospice family members and crisis support referrals for urgent emotional needs.

I wrote the following letter to Mission Hospice and Home Care. I am writing to thank your organization and its caregivers for the kind, compassionate, and exemplary care they gave my mother during the last 5 weeks of her life at Mills Estate Villa. The Nurse, Linda Corell, Social Worker, Tess Murphy, and the Spiritual Counselor, Rachel Rosenberg were truly wonderful as they cared for my mother and never hesitated to offer and give me support as needed.
Caring and communication were two things that were obvious in my day to contact with the Hospice Team. Linda would send me pictures of my mom

I cant thank Mission Hospice enough for great support during overwhelming multiple losses. Your great care and support groups over Christmas, you are just the kindest, the very very best! Your advice to wait to be a volunteer myself was right on, What you provide must be very careful, so important to be mindful and really there! Thank you against all odds! YOU DONT KNOW; YOU WERE THE ONLY SOURCE OF STABILITY I HAD, YOU WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT STUCK BY ME, I WAS ALONE EXCEPT FOR YOU! Margaret...

My mom received terrific care both in her home and through the opportunity to stay at a hospice home in her final days. She was treated with care, dignity and respect and her final time with us was made better because she was doing it her way. Can't say enough about the wonderful caregivers, office staff and physicians who cared for my mom. Thank you so much for everything.
