Besides presiding over the Board of Directors and running Rock 'n' More, Dace has written syndicated newspaper columns, created a film that was shown at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival, played Key Arena in Seattle, and is a mascot for a roller derby team.Arielle's dynamic rock concert posters have been on display throughout Maple Valley, South King County, and Seattle for years.

Dace's Rock 'n' More Music Academy started life in the summer of 2005 as The School of Rock. Since then we changed our name and became non-profit so that we could achieve the goals as mandated by our mission statement. We've already given private musical instrument lessons to thousands of kids in the area.

Guitar instruction for all levels and all styles with an emphasis on fundamentals, creativity, and fun. When Dace mowed her neighbor's lawn at the age of 12 in the Spring of 198[redacted] she unwittingly started her first business. This was also about the time she discovered Guns 'n' Roses.
Over the next 8 years or so (through the entire grunge era!) she built up a clientele of a dozen or so homes on the Eastside while practicing guitar about four or five hours per day, memorizing every word on the Temple of the Dog album, and every possible Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar lick possible.She learned music theory and classical guitar at Bellevue Community College and performed around Seattle in a hard rock band.

We offer private lessons for guitar, bass, piano, vocals, drums, ukulele, and more! Our walls are rainbow colored and we often have glitter on the floor. We think that you are never too old to rock! Our very qualified instructors can teach beginners to experts.
Our Rockology band program allows you to learn to play with other musicians and you get to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe! Rock 'n' More has given tens of thousands of dollars in tuition assistance so that anyone can take lessons regardless of their ability to pay.We always have a picture of David Hasselhoff on hand, just in case.

Lessons & Classes

Music and math are highly intertwined. By understanding beat, rhythm, and scales, children are learning how to divide, create fractions, and recognize patterns. As kids get older, they'll start reciting songs, calling on their short-term memory and eventually their long-term memory. Certain instruments, such as percussion, help people develop coordination and motor skills; they require movement of the hands, arms, and feet.

From History of Rock 'n' Roll to the Business of Music, Rock 'n' More is excited to offer a variety of courses offered thru Green River College, taught and carefully curated by founder/president of Dace's Rock 'n' More, Dace Anderson. Registration is all done thru Green River College. Classes offered at Auburn and Tahoma campuses.
