With our small, close-knit "Micro-School", staff members communicate easily with parents and develop personal relationships with students. Mirus is friendly and welcoming, without the cliques often found in larger schools. Mirus Academy offers a rigorous yet accessible college-prep curriculum in alignment with Texas graduation requirements.
Academics

Mirus classes range in size from 4 - 12, with an average class size of 8. With such small classes, it's easy to provide students with the individual attention they need. Plus, it's easy for classes to be discussion-based, with lots of student-teacher dialogue and time for hands-on activities. Mirus Academy follows a unique block-schedule that is often referred to as "University Model" or "College-Style".

Have you ever wanted to go to a school where everyone is friendly and kind? Mirus Academy is your answer. In public school, both kids and parents are stressed, but here at Mirus Academy my parents and I don't feel stressed at all. I feel much more relaxed at not nervous at all. I'm so glad I go to Mirus!

I'm so grateful to be part of the Mirus community. Mirus Academy has a selective application process and is unable to accept every student that applies.
Tuition & Fees

As an independent, nonsectarian private school, Mirus Academy receives no money from religious, government, or corporate institutions. The school relies solely on tuition to pay for rent, utilities, faculty, staff, and educational supplies. A non-refundable annual registration fee is applied each school year, due upon enrollment.
