Special Education Programs
Our individualized academic programs address communication delays and learning differences through specialized instruction. Certified teachers implement evidence-based strategies tailored to each student's needs, focusing on language development, social skills, and academic readiness. The curriculum incorporates arts, sciences, and technology while maintaining a 5:1 student-to-adult ratio for personalized attention.
Speech-Language Therapy
On-site speech-language pathologists deliver up to 15 weekly hours of group therapy for early childhood students. Our immersive approach integrates language development into classroom activities, targeting articulation, fluency, and social communication. Therapy sessions use play-based learning and assistive technology to build functional communication skills for academic and social success.
Social Learning Groups
Structured social thinking groups teach perspective-taking, emotional regulation, and peer interaction skills. Our therapists use role-playing and real-life scenarios to develop social problem-solving abilities. The program addresses challenges associated with autism, ADHD, and social (pragmatic) communication disorders through evidence-based methodologies like Social Thinking.
Nature-Based Learning
Daily outdoor experiences in our certified Nature Explore Classroom promote sensory integration and environmental connection. Students engage in hands-on science activities, gardening, and unstructured play across 17 acres of natural spaces. This approach supports attention restoration, motor development, and emotional well-being for children with sensory processing challenges.
Adventure Play
Our innovative afterschool program encourages imaginative play using natural and recycled materials. Children design and build their own play environments, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and social collaboration. Certified playworkers facilitate risk-taking within safe boundaries, promoting independence and peer relationship-building through child-directed activities.

The above statements was 3years ago. It is now 2000. Caden has almost caught up with his speech. He is a happy, confident and very social child. He makes friends easily everywhere he goes. His social skill exceed my expectation for him. He his now getting occupational therapy for fine motor skill and he loves it! We love all his teachers.
Thaden is successful in middle school. He finally made an A in writing which is one of the hardest subject for autistic kids. He is taking advance math like trigonometry . He has lots of friends and even took a girl to a formal dance. I think the foundation at

Very Disappointing and Expensive! Too many issues to address in one short review, but the communication with administration is poor at best. In my case, the program was not at all about communication, but about writing skills. The "team" makes decisions, but the team was never introduced in any way... In fact, I do not know how many people are on the team. The school cashed my checks, but did not provide service I paid for.

The Parish School is such a blessing. Our daughter has had 3 brain surgeries because of a seizure disorder. She has had a language delay. After being evaluated by Dr. Assel (neuropsychologist), he recommended TPS. We have seen AMAZING results. There is a teacher, a paraprofessional, and a speech and language pathologist in each classroom. All who have at least a bachelor's degree. The parent training is phenomenal. They help you understand how your child learns and communicates differently, and helps you learn to communicate in the way your child needs. We are so happy this school exists

The Parish School is an amazing place!! Before we found The Parish School, my husband and I felt lost as to how to help our son deal with his issues. We were up late at night reading articles and were constantly taking him to different "experts" trying to get someone to teach us how to help him. Parish has been the answer to all of our questions. Our son is loved and respected and understood. As his parents we are heard, validated and included in every decision. The teachers and staff at Parish are so knowledgeable and dedicated to each and every child. My son used to sit by himself and let the
