Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is an innovative, non-profit PK-11 private school, adding one grade each year through 12th grade. CTL's primary mission is to foster a LOVE of learning by teaching students to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and to work both independently and collaboratively.
We celebrate diversity and instill integrity, compassion, and confidence in each student. We work in tandem with parents, families, and community members to ensure that each child receives the tools and nurturing needed to become his or her own unique self. In the fall of 2010, Dr. Linda Ellis invited local educators to a meeting to discuss the possibility of applying with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for a charter school. Dr. Ellis once again spearheaded a think tank consisting of strong, passionate experts she had known over the last 28 years as an educator, experts from every content area.

AT CTL, we provide the environment where students experience the skills needed to succeed now and in the future - in school, at home, in careers and in life. We focus on 21st Century skills that are essential tools today's students need to be successful: these key skills have one focus - someone's ability to enact and/or adapt to change.
Programs
Report
Program offerings are entirely dependent on the level of student/parent interest in specific grades. In other words, some offerings may change for specific grade levels based on student interest. Parents will be notified if a program has insufficient numbers to run in that trimester. Please do not make your payment until you are notified that the program has been confirmed.
