Questions

What should I wear for a horseback riding tour?

Closed-toe shoes with heels and long pants are required. We recommend moisture-wicking clothing and sunscreen. Helmets are provided.

Are there weight restrictions for riders?

Riders must weigh between 90-250 lbs for safety reasons. Special accommodations can be made for youth riders with advance notice.

Can I bring my own horse for boarding?

Yes, our facility accepts outside horses for both short-term and permanent boarding with prior arrangement.

What happens if it rains during my scheduled ride?

We offer rescheduling options for weather-related cancellations. Rain checks are valid for 30 days from original booking date.

Do you offer photography services during rides?

Professional trail photography is included with full moon rides. Additional photo packages available for regular tours.

I do a lot of volunteer work at ranch and also ride horses. I enjoy my time at the ranch. I go several days a week. I love all the animals. Enjoy spending time with them. They have pot belly pigs, dogs, cats, chicken, geese, ducks, donkeys, ponies goats. There is something for everyone. the people there are wonderful. Safety and care for the animals and riders is first. Great place

As a horseback guide that has toured at several locations, Just Horsen Around is BY FAR my favorite! Extremely welcoming and laid back stable- They are truly all inclusive and take impressively close care of their animals- be it horse, cow, goat, pig- you name it. With over 9,500 acres to explore, the same old dirt path really isnt an option- making this stable extremely unique, and their price impossible to beat. Kathy and Alicia selflessly ensure the upmost care and love for every animal here, something that is rare to come by nowadays. Come and see for yourself!

This is a great place. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We did not have reservations and kids wanted pony ride. They accommodated us in the schedule in short notice. Will definitely go there again. Thanks for wonderful time Hope, Alex and Cathy.

Overall wonderful and excellent experience on the trail ride,and customer service Cassie is super nice. Beautiful location and animals they have on their property that we were able to see and pet. Personally this is best place for horseback riding in this locale because of the price, customer service, area and how well they take care of their animals. Truly get to see the other side of Florida wildlife and farm life. If Im ever in this area again this is definitely a go to spot.

Jodi and I had a very nice ride with Savannah and Alexandria! It was very relaxing and the trail ride we took was beautiful! We called in the early afternoon and were accommodated well! We will be back! Thank you, Kathy and the crew!
