I have been in private practice in Austin, Texas for thirty-five years. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, have completed additional graduate work at SUNY Brockport in New York and attend professional trainings in areas of interest. I am licensed by the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor/Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) #2497.
In the past, I was employed as a counselor for the University of Texas' Counseling and Psychological Services Center, providing individual, couples and group therapy, as well as outreach programs and workshops. In addition, I was on the staff of the University's Telephone Counseling and Referral Hotline providing crisis and suicide intervention.

My office hours are Mondays 12pm -7pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 9 am - 7 pm. Please note that my schedule tends to be quite full. I am rarely able to accommodate a specific date/time request and would prefer you to give me a range of options. I provide counseling for individual adults and couples, and from time to time, facilitate therapy groups and workshops. A strong interest of mine is using EMDR, teaching relaxation/mindfulness techniques to reduce depression, anxiety and stress, and hypnosis for childbirth, to stop smoking and to improve overall well-being.

Cash, checks and debit/HSA/credit cards are accepted. Self-paying clients who file an insurance claim, file for HSA reimbursement or want a receipt for tax purposes can receive a complete billing statement upon request. If you have mental health benefits through your insurance provider, please check with me and them to see if I am still a provider.

My office, built onto the back of my home, is located on Mohle Drive, around the corner from the Glenview address. When you arrive, please park in my driveway on Mohle Dr. (or along the side of my house) and look for the Green sign in the top window of the office door, which indicates that you can come in.
