Cortisone is an injectable anti-inflammatory that has been used for decades to treat chronic or acute inflammatory conditions of the body. On reoccurring or complicated ingrown nails, a simple 3 minute procedure may be performed that consists of removing the edge of nail and applying a drop of specialized chemical into the area.

In an attempt to reduce the financial burden that is frequently associated with surgery, Dr. James established and organized the Sunnyside Surgery Center. This center was established in 2004 and shares the same building space as the Teton Foot and Ankle Center. The Surgery Center is proud to provide state of the art equipment and ancillary needs necessary for the performance of foot and lower extremity reconstructive surgery.
