Scappoose Adventist School (SAS) is a Preschool-8th grade Christian school. We think of ourselves more as a close community made up of students, teachers, families, and staff. We serve a diverse population and welcome students of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds who desire an opportunity to have Christ and the teachings of the Bible as part of their education.
SAS is state accredited and the teaching staff is certified. Low student-to-teacher ratios and multi-grade classrooms, such as those enjoyed at SAS, are seen by many educators to offer an ideal learning environment for children.

Education, in its broadest sense, is a means of returning human beings to their original relationship with God.

I hope that you have enjoyed a restful and relaxing summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. As I begin my fourth year at SAS, I am particularly grateful for the blessing of this community of staff, volunteers, students and families in my life, and I can't wait to see you all again.
