No! Contrary to popular belief, it is not necessary to cover a cake in fondant to achieve a smooth, finished look. Our decorators are trained in the art of flat icing, which can be achieved with our buttercream and mousse frostings. In fact, we prefer to decorate cakes with buttercream frosting rather than fondant as fondant is far more expensive to the customer and it isn't nearly as tasty as traditional frosting.

Our team is dedicated to cooking with only the freshest ingredients to deliver tasty food that is packed with flavor.

At Louie's Bakery, we believe that a wedding cake is far more than a dessert; we believe that it's a reflection of a couple's unique personality. Because of that, we make it a point to tailor each wedding cake specifically to each customer. We offer our couples a free taste test and consultation where they will meet with our lead cake artist to design their dream wedding cake.
